UL Welcomes Jason Peercy, Innovative Technologies Lab Technician

Jason Peercy is a writer, vocalist, composer, actor, 3D historical modeler, sound engineer, producer, director, game designer, and traveler. He applies the experiences and skills obtained through his work and explorations to manage projects using creative problem solving, innovative thinking, and keen networking. He possesses an eye for detail and though he can work independently, he thrives in a team environment seeking out those opportunities. He is a master's graduate of the Luddy School of Informatics at IU Indianapolis through the Media Arts and Science program. His research and thesis focused on the creation of digital heritage VR content for institutions of informal learning. He currently works in the University Library at IU Indianapolis as the VR Coordinator overseeing the activities of the library's VR Lab. He has also worked on published role-playing games such as The Real Thing RPG and owns a local film company, Curious Alien Productions.
