Jennifer Price Mahoney is the recipient of the 5th annual IUPUI Open Education Award, which recognizes faculty work in the creation, adaptation, or adoption of open educational resources which are provided at no cost to students, and which are licensed for widespread use.
The award-winning project provided no-cost textbooks to over 2,600 students a year enrolled in three different Writing courses. The texts were found in online OER repositories and adopted for use at IUPUI.
