Poetry Month Celebrations

This year, IUPUI University Library is participating in National Poetry Month. National Poetry Month is the largest literary celebration in the world. It serves to bring awareness of the power of the written word and to foster connections between poetry lovers.

Over the month of April, the library is releasing a weekly Poetry Talk, featuring a local poet or poetry lover discussing a particular poem. The first Poetry Talk with Nichelle Hayes speaking with Humanities Librarian Gemmicka Piper is now available.

In addition, the library is sharing a poem of the week and has a collection of poetry books on display in the Pop Shop.
