IUPUI University Library has a streaming film collection of more than 70,000 titles, which include popular films, the Criterion film collection, documentaries, discipline-specific recordings, and more.
Through a connection to the film archive, Kanopy, the Library provides access to a catalog of more than 30,000 educational, entertaining, and enriching films. The Library will purchase a license to films that are viewed by IUPUI students, faculty, and staff. These films can be viewed for personal use, screened in class, or featured in a public performance. See our Kanopy Guide for information on embedding videos in Canvas and a list of titles that the library has.
Other Streaming Films
In addition to Kanopy, the Library has purchasing streaming access to more than 40,000 films. These films are searchable and available through the IUCAT Video Search.
Interlibrary Loan Service
For many years, Interlibrary Loan has been the Library’s central service for delivering content outside of the Library’s collections, and it remains a vital method for obtaining articles, books, book chapters, conference proceedings, and other materials.
In addition to Film on Demand, any IUPUI student, faculty, or staff member can request the purchase of a new film or other materials using the purchase suggestion form.
