ABI Inform - Local and regional coverage of private and small public companies, industry and business news.

Academic Search Premier (EBSCO) - This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for nearly 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles.  (Undergraduate)

ACM Portal (ACM Digital Library and Guide to Computing Literature) - provides current access to the ACM journals, magazines, proceedings and newsletters. (Undergraduate, Graduate)

Annual Reviews - IUPUI has access to current content for select Annual Review titles on topics such as the Annual Review of Materials Research, Biomedical Engineering, and Biophysics, as well as the entire Annual Review Archive.

Applied Science Full Text - Includes trade and industrial publications, journals of professional and learned societies, and specialized subject periodicals.

CINAHL Plus with Full Text (Ebsco) - resource for nursing and allied health professionals, students, educators and researchers.

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) - Open access journals in engineering and technology, including electrical and nuclear engineering; environmental engineering; civil engineering; mechanical engineering; general technology.

Dissertations & Theses (Proquest) - Doctoral dissertations and master´s theses are a vital fund of scholarship for any discipline.

Ei Compendex (Engineering Index through Engineering Village 2) - chemical, civil, environmental, electrical, structural, and process engineering, materials science, solid state physics, superconductivity, bioengineering, energy, chemical, optics, air and water pollution, solid waste management, hazardous waste road transportation, and transportation safety.  (Graduate)

EMBASE - biomedical and pharmacological bibliographic database containing citations and abstracts. EMBASE is indexed using the Elsevier life science thesaurus, EMTREE. The database also included Medline records that are mapped to the EMBASE thesaurus.

GREENR (Global Reference on the Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources) - focuses on the physical, social, and economic aspects of environmental issues.

IEEE Xplore Portal  - provides access to quality technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics.

IET Journals page - contains original and review papers relating to all disciplines in electrical, electronics, computing, control, biomedical and communications technologies.

Institute of Physics (IOP) - Search electronic journals from the Institute of Physics.

Journal Citation Reports - includes citation data from over 7,500 scholarly and technical journals including the most frequently cited journals in a field, the highest impact journals in a field, and the largest journals in a field.

Medline, through Ovid (1967-Present) - Produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM), the MEDLINE database is widely recognized as the premier source for bibliographic and abstract coverage of biomedical literature. 

Pharmaceutical News Index (ProQuest) - the definitive database of pharmacological news, research, and regulatory information.  Covers the most important specialized publications in the pharmaceutical, health care, biotechnology, and medical device industries.

RDS Business Reference Suite (Gale) - highly focused full-text coverage of company and industry news, management practices, and market research information.

Web of Science -  covers the journal literature of the sciences.

ebrary - Discover over 20,000 full-text books in multiple academic and general interest subject areas, sheet music titles and reports.

Springer E-Books - Access to over 12,000 titles in the subject areas of science, technolody, mathematics, medicine, and nursing.  NOTE: If book is available to IUPUI users, the box to the right of the title will be in green.

BMES - The Biomedical Engineering Society's purpose is to promote the increase of biomedical engineering knowledge and its utilization. 

Division of Bioengineering & Environmental Systems at the NSF - This organization is concerned with expanding the knowledge base of bioengineering.

IEEE : EMBS - The Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society of the IEEE is interested in the application of concepts and methods of the physical and engineering sciences in biology and medicine.

FDA - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is a public health agency charged with protecting American consumers.

Intute Engineering - a collection of engineering websites compiled by experts from British universities.

SciCentral -  aggregates breaking engineering research news from reputable and reliable online sources.

Science.gov -  searches over 40 databases and over 2000 selected websites, offering 200 million pages of U.S. government science information, including research and development results.

Tech Xtra - a collection of articles, books, websites, industry news, job announcements, technical reports, technical data, full text eprints, the latest research, theses & dissertations, teaching and learning resources and more, in engineering, mathematics and computing. 

Visible Human Project - contains complete, anatomically detailed, three-dimensional representations of the male and female human body.

Whitaker Foundation - The Resources section of the Whitaker International Fellows and Scholars Program website provides applicants and grantees with useful starting points for current and future research on biomedical engineering and bioengineering.

Women in Engineering Proactive Network - useful for research, best practices, and professional communities dedicated to the advancement of women in engineering but there is also much information regarding women in science, technology and math.
