The Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV), a research program of the Institute of Behavioral Science (IBS) at the University of Colorado at Boulder, was founded to provide informed assistance to groups committed to understanding and preventing violence, particularly adolescent violence.
The United Nations Secretary General’s Study on Violence Against Children
The United Nations Secretary General appointed independent expert Paulo Sérgio Pinheiro to lead a global study on violence against children. The study, rooted in children’s human rights to protection from all forms of violence, aims to promote action to prevent and eliminate violence against children at international, regional, national and local levels.
