Criminal Justice Periodicals (ProQuest Databases)
ProQuest Criminal Justice Periodicals Index is a comprehensive database of U.S. and international criminal justice journals. The database provides research support for students interested in careers in criminal justice, law enforcement, corrections administration, drug enforcement, rehabilitation, family law, and industrial security. The database includes abstract and indexing for over 230 titles, with more than 75 available in full-text.
Index to Legal Periodicals (through Wilson Web)
The Index to Legal Periodicals offers full text access to nearly 270 select periodicals, as far back as 1994, many of them peer-reviewed. Indexing covers over 1,025 legal journals, law reviews, yearbooks, institutes, statutes, bar association publications, university publications, and government publications. Nearly 300 law reviews are included in the coverage.
Hein Online
Hein Online is a powerful resource for research in law, government and criminal justice. It is full searchable, with full text in PDF format which includes all all charts, graphs, pictures, photographs, and footnotes from the original published materials. It covers over 900 journals (over 1,200 periodicals total), all U.S. Treaties and Agreements (whether in-force, expired, or yet-to-be published), and every published U.S. Supreme Court decision as it appears in the official U.S. Reports.
PAIS (Public Affairs Information Service), through CSA Databases
The PAIS International database from CSA contains references to more than 553,300 journal articles, books, government documents, statistical directories, grey literature, research reports, conference reports, publications of international agencies, microfiche, Internet material, and more. Newspapers and newsletters are not indexed.
National Criminal Justice Reference Service
NCJRS offers extensive reference and referral services to help you find answers to your questions about crime and justice-related research, policy, and practice. NCJRS services and resources are available to anyone interested in crime, victim assistance, and public safety. LegalTrac
Designed for use by students, faculty and legal professionals, LegalTrac provides indexing for more than 1,400 titles including major law reviews, legal newspapers, bar association journals and international legal journals. Each title included in LegalTrac is selected on the basis of criteria provided by a special advisory committee of the American Association of Law Libraries. LegalTrac also contains law-related articles from over 1,000 additional business and general interest titles.
Expanded Academic ASAP
Expanded Academic ASAP is designed to satisfy the broad needs of students, faculty and graduate researchers. Balanced coverage is available through 3,800 indexed and 2,200 full-text titles in a wide variety of disciplines including: social science journals, humanities journals, science and technology journals, medical journals, national news periodicals, general interest magazines, newswires, and many others. More than 2,500 journals are peer reviewed, and up to 25 years of backfile coverage is included.
InfoTrac OneFile
Use InfoTrac OneFile to access periodical and news content, as well as indexing from a variety of general and specialized journals – from the New York Times and Christian Science Monitor to refereed academic journals. It includes 5,156 full-text titles (more than 9,200 titles in all), full indexing of some of the world's greatest newspapers, 89 wire services covering worldwide current events, and backfile coverage from 1980 to the present.

Academic Universe provides citations, summaries, and full-text articles in a wide range of academic areas including business, social sciences, humanities, general academic, general science, education, and multi-cultural study.
Sociological Abstracts (CSA Database)
Many issues in Criminal Justice are related to the study of sociology. CSA Sociological Abstracts and indexes the international literature in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. The database provides abstracts of journal articles and citations to book reviews drawn from over 1,800+ serials publications, and also provides abstracts of books, book chapters, dissertations, and conference papers.
