Summary: Under the supervision of members from the Client Support Team, the Client Support Technology (CST) Consultant will provide direct technical assistance and support to customers using the public computer clusters in the University Library. Consultants are expected to communicate using our GAIM Chat System, In-Person Walk-up, or our phone. Each also will provide Room Support for University Library's 10 Conference/Meeting/Class room space. They will be required to maintain the public computer clusters areas. Special projects may be assigned when appropriate. Excellent customer service skills are required. The CST Consultant will be required to work with little supervision. The is a WORK-STUDY Position only. Typical weekly hours range from 10-25 per week. CST Consultants are assigned shifts at the beginning of the semester and retain these shifts for the entire semester. The consultant job is designed to accommodate students: the schedule is created based on consultant availability and seniority. IUPUI part-time hourly staff is paid on an hourly, bi-weekly basis, with no remission of academic fees and no commitment to continuous employment. Job Description
