Data Services


The Data Services Program supports IUPUI researchers in meeting the data management and sharing requirements of various funding agencies. Support is available for your data needs throughout the life of your project. All services are free to IUPUI faculty, staff, and students.

    • Help you draft and refine or review your data management plan. Allow a minimum of 3 business days for review and feedback. For the best results, please consult us as early in the proposal development process as possible.
  • Consultations 
    • Data management, sharing, and preservation planning (See our IUPUI DataWorks repository)
    • Enhancement of existing data sets with metadata for discovery and reuse
    • Guidance on meeting ethical and legal obligations, including confidentiality, privacy, sharing, publication, archiving and preservation
  • Training and education (see Data Events page)
    • Data management practices using available infrastructure at IUPUI
    • Data literacy instruction
