ABSTRACT
The School of Science was created in 1972 following a restructuring of academic programs by combining the old Indiana University and Purdue University departments and separating arts from science departments. School administration resided at the 38th Street campus, where most departments offered classes. In 1977 the School became the Purdue University School of Science, with all departments except one (Geology) offering Purdue degrees. Graduate degree programs expanded to all departments. In 1991 began the move of administration and departments into new buildings on the IUPUI main campus.
Records include correspondence, minutes, publications, and course syllabi.
